Proper technique could also help you to protect your lower back from strain.

Many women are afraid of weight training because they are afraid of looking masculine or muscular. As a result they tend to stick with tread mills and elliptical trainers to burn up their calories. In reality, weight training converts fat into lean muscle and lean muscle burns up more calories thereby assisting in the process of weight control. It is like having a bigger engine that burns up more calories.
