This water lets your body to stay healthy and keeps your skin from drying out. Setting up a regular schedule of when you have a glass of water will help prevent you from forgetting to drink the proper amount of water necessary to keep your skin moisturized.

What you decide to eat is also important to your overall skincare plan. Spinach is an excellent source of vitamin A and can contribute to youthful looking skin. Berries are also a useful skincare food as they contain antioxidants that help your skin cells avoid damage. Try to work these two into your diet and your skin will thank you later.

As some foods can aid you in skincare, there are also those that can be harmful. Alcohol consumption will cause you to urinate more frequently than your body normally would. This deficit of moisture from your body can lead to dehydration and dry skin. When consuming alcohol, make sure you drink water to replace the fluids your body is losing. An excess of caffeine intake can also lead to dry skin. However this is only if you are consuming large amounts of coffee, soda, or energy drinks, but it is something to look out for. Skincare and moisturizer go hand in hand, and to give your moisturizer the best possible chance of working you need to watch your diet. Keep an eye on what you are eating and you will be well on your way to healthy skin.
