Perry's playful character embodies the core perfume of Purr.. In the ad campaign, Katy plays a cat woman. The bottle is sleek as a cat: a purple cat-shaped bottle with eyes in dazzling shimmer.
The perfume is floral-fruity but leans more on the fruity side. The notes are: peach, apple, jasmine, Bulgarian rose, orchid, bamboo, sandalwood, vanilla and musk.
The opening features a burst of fresh apples and peaches.. It then transitions into something coconut-y, sweetness full of warmth and depth. The amber trail, however, quickly dissipates and gets lost in the bed of florals. In sum, Purr is a slightly sweet fragrance, a summer and spring must have.. Longevity is average as it doesn't stay long on the skin unless you over apply it, of course.
Purr doesn't veer much away from other celebrity scents in the market today. In fact, if you allow the scent to develop on you, thoughts of JLo's Glow and Paris Hilton's scents come to mind.
