This use of solar power may only be a small step toward a greener environment; however, it is doing something that counts. Solar powered air compressors generate power only from the solar panels, so they cannot be run at night. The best thing about a solar air compressor is that it is green technology and moves us toward greater environmental responsibility.
You may not have a need for a huge solar powered drill, but there are a number of other uses for solar technology. Solar technology is now being used to power large things, like the space station, to small technology like cell phones and computers. You can also buy smaller solar air compressors to run smaller drills and equipment.
The solar power air compressor is much the same as a standard air compressor. The difference is the sun generates the power. This makes solar powered air compressors easy to use most anywhere, as long as the sun is shining.
