The Bull Strength Conditioning Review
Go to: Previous Article Next Article
Bull Strength Conditioning was written by our chum Joe Hashey, CSCS. We explained to Joe a short time ago that people are so bored of boring standard cardiovascular because it just doesn't produce the fat burning results that they are searching for.
For those following our Lean Hybrid Muscle programme you know that goal is to create muscle while burning up fat in the same coaching cycle. In case you're new here let me just remind you that this is realized by mixing strength building, muscle growth and compound cardio exercises into our programming.
Hybrid cardiovascular is anything that combines cardiovascular with weight lifting into the same workout or even the same exercise so as to build the type III muscle fiber.
Having more mitochondria in the muscle cells implies that more nutriments can be processed, giving the muscles the ability to work considerably harder for longer periods. They're also able to grow larger and are able to resist getting tired for longer periods.
Joe has been a big fan of Compound Muscle Coaching. He has spent the last few months modifying and developing a book full of composite cardiovascular circuits and exercises for us!
What Do You Mean by Plug-in for Lean Compound?
O.K Joe's PDF has 27 composite cardio circuits or complexes. If you're on the Lean Hybrid Muscle program you need to use any of these 27 circuits on your compound cardio days.
Many of you've been emailing Elliott & I asking if there are any other exercises you can do to replace the ones that are in your workout templates. Well this is where Joe stepped up and popped up with these sick-ass exercises and circuits for you. They all involve resistance and cardio in the same exercise and you can swap out any of these exercises for exercises in the Lean Hybrid Muscle programme.
You can tell Joe is a real strength coach. The information in the book, the exercises and the workouts all get an A+. The single thing that might use some improvement is the layout or graphics. Maybe some videos of the exercises would be cool too. But graphics and fancy stuff like that does not actually count at all when it comes to how good the info is so I would not worry about it. Joe spends his time ensuring his circuits are top-quality and not wasting time on fancy backgrounds, borders, and stuff like that.
