It is much more common to see younger women dating older men than a younger man dating an older woman. However many women may be intrigued or puzzled on the benefits or perks of dating an older man. There are many reasons that women find dating an older man attractive and this goes beyond the gold digger issue. There is more to an older man than just his wallet.
Maturity plays a huge role in the appeal of dating an older man. Women do mature faster than men so a woman may feel that most men her age are very immature.
Some women look to an older man as a father figure and this can be very common for women that were missing a father when growing up or did not have a good family experience. This type of relationship is actually beneficial to both individuals as the man gets an ego boost by having someone that looks up to them and the women receives the guidance and mentoring she desires.
Sometimes younger women will date an older man because she is looking for a father figure. This is not necessarily negative as both people may be satisfied with the relationship. The woman will get the guidance that she needs and the man may appreciate the fact that his partner looks up to him and appreciates what he has to offer.
They also have more experience in life and now what they enjoy and the things that they want to try.
Older men can also be more stable as they already know what they want to do and have accomplished this. This type of security can be very attractive to some women as someone that is successful is always considered attractive. Older men generally do not have to struggle and working their way out of a low paying job.
