What Chi Really Is!

Most of these superhuman stories have never really been proven. Yes, there are people who can break rocks with their bare hands, and I have seen people who could put out candles even while standing across a room. But as for killing somebody without even touching them...hey, I'm still alive!
But, this doesn't mean there is no such thing as Chi. As a long time practitioner of the martial arts I have seen enough that I firmly believe in the existence of Chi. I have also seen that so many people don't understand the concept that that alone would curtail the development of such a force in members of society.
On the level of the immediate body, Chi is the source of energy, and this source is located about two inches below the navel. One can grow this energy, on this level, through the simple practices of proper diet, eliminating our sins, exercising properly, and following a generally healthy lifestyle. What one gets, for following this lifestyle, is resistance to sickness, good health into old age, and a cheery outlook on life.
On the level at which most people think when they are thinking of superhuman feats, the mysterious level of Chi, Chi is a matter of properly cultivated thought. This level is developed through disciplined methodologies which enable us to go beyond what we consider is humanly possible. In actuality, this disciplined thought is the fact of lowering the radio static quality of think in our minds, and leaving us with the calm of no static, which is who we really are.
Joe Blow, a good friend of ours, practices a tested and proven method of chi cultivation, which would be an old martial art that has not been robbed of the power inherent in its design and propagation. Through the practice of this martial art Joe Blow starts doing purely and becomes intent solely on what he is doing, which is to say that he stops having the extra chatter of unrelated thoughts while he is practicing the martial arts.
The excess distractions in his mind lessen, and the fact that he is a human is pushed into the background, and he starts to realize the truth of who he is without a body. Some people, during the practice of pure discipline, even experience their existence from outside the body. It doesn't matter how a person experiences this phenomena, they are still left with the truth of who they are...and it is this truth which enables them to perform superhuman deeds.
