I'd consider them a small flood light but they're effective and completely adjustable. I purchased several of these Dorcy LED Wireless Flood Lites and set them around the house. There's lots of light just to walk and see at least a ten foot area.
Then I tried it around midnight without any other lights on and it would not switch on. Researched a lot of lights for my yard and I chose to make the purchase from Amazon to get this one. It's not worthwhile. You can easily load the batteries, select one of the two brightness ranges, (high or low), and also to change and lock the lighting positions. We like it only comes on during the night if needed, therefore it is not wasteful and the movement sensor is excellent. I just ordered another sidewalk lighting unit for my yard. The sensors are advertised, and are completely responsive. My second problem was if it saw any light, even a little bit it does not switch on, like someone else had talked about I opened the unit and coated about half of the light sensor, the little circle with wavy lines on it, and today it is just right. Two out of two bad, I will try another brand name. They are fantastic little lights for the cost and work as advertised.
My pal caught some people sneaking into his yard to swim in the pool at like two in the morning.
Seriously guys, follow through. I picked up a couple of these and one Mr Beam MB360 right here off Amazon. With the distance it is able to be triggered and the splendidly bright light, I possibly could not be more happy. If you know please comment.
If you browse the directions cautiously and make sure you have the light on the right configurations it does what it says it would. The walkway lights are not super bright but it's vibrant enough to illuminate a sizable area. I was thrilled to find this battery powered movement lighting system.
The maker has produced an excellent product that is sold at a good cost. Each time I pass it by sitting comfortably in its box, it lights up!
For a flood light that has only one LED, it's sure bright!
First the walkway lights are very heavy and requires big area for mounting, and mine are fine now. I'll say that the movement sensor in them is very sensitive. I get home late and do not enjoy having lights on all day, and a timer was not gonna work with our set-up.
The twisting hinge that attaches the light to the foundation was missing.
