The light stays on for thirty seconds unless of course it continues to detect motion. The location on my house where I set up the light was next to an exterior door in the dining room on to the raised deck we now have outside. LED means no bulbs, meaning no replacing of bulbs.
One of the patio string lights was unintentionally dropped four feet onto a tile floor I was concerned it can't work, but no harm and it works good.
It mounts effortlessly, is extremely sensitive to our motion so it lights up quickly, and it throws off lots of light for something so little. Clearly, reliability seemed to be an issue with the two patio string lights that I received. The outdoor flood lights work completely and are extremely easy to set up.
They didn't disappoint! I liked it a lot, I ordered another one despite the fact that I am not sure yet where I'll place it! I do not think the solar landscape lights on the market are actually designed to illuminate an area. Make sure to take off the rubber gasket from the surface mount box and use it between your fixture and the stucco to make a weather restricted seal, and a little silicone doesn't hurt. The movement sensor on the patio string lights is much less sensitive than I'd like, but extremely acceptable nevertheless.
They arrived rapidly, well packaged, and in outstanding condition.
At idle it uses half the bulb wattage makes the outdoor flood lights keep going longer and more energy efficent. They've been set up for about a few months and they provide light outdoors, which is what they're supposed to do, right? There isn't any on/off switch.
I only say this because it is actually brass construction, and brass tends to look bad after about a year within the elements. The LED lamp is sealed and you never need to buy a halogen bulb again!
Then I realized that this light would only use 3 way light bulbs.
While they're not made from the best quality supplies, they're serving their purpose well. The 41-1071 flood light is extremely bright, extremely sensitive, and usually perfectly made. I would extremely recomend.
Threw the batteries in and mounted the light. We purchased two of these. It really works better than anticipated. I do not need it to be on all night. Discovered these cordless window candles and based on the reviews chose to try it. Item works as advertised.
