Before you start your workout please remember to stretch and do some walking in place or tread mill walking to warm up.
A press is one you can try while lying flat on a floor or mat. Using a kettle bell in each hand slowly raise one arm at a time above your head.
Another type of exercise would be alternate floor presses. In this one you will rest on your back on the floor. Have a weight in each hand. You will then lift the weight. You should twist your torso when doing this. You should alternate between your arms so that they both get a workout.
A front squat is another move to try. To do this grip one kettle bell and hold it in front of your chest. Then spread your feet about a hip width apart and with knees slightly bent squat down. Repeat this movement several times.
Another type of kettlebell exercise is kettlebell called cleans. This exercise is done by starting with the torso straight and bent forward at the hips over the kettlebell. You then pick the weights up by extending the hips, ankles and knees. Your elbows should face out and your shoulder should be in line with the weights. When you lift the weights rotate the elbow so that they are under the weight and place your hand in front of your shoulders. Do all this in a fluid motion.
As you get better at doing these exercises you will be able to add more to your routine, until you have a number of varied moves you can preform using the kettle bells. The building of stamina and strength is one of the benefits of using kettlebells in your workout. Because they are round and require balancing to keep them steady your body works more muscles and get an overall better workout using them.
