They follow after the R8 but cannot seize it. This sounded as a defect as it was 5 on 1 condition, and hence it should have been trapped. Anyway, if Audi managed to run away the 5 bots you can imagine the thrill and action involved in the opening scene.
Barricade is another pleasurable character from the movie Transformer 2. He is in fact a multifarious robot. But still, keeping any Autobot alive is always subjected (??) to be of some benefit to the Decepticons. This is what makes Barricade even smarter. This usually does not work out as planned, so he gets some fingers pointing towards him.
