SAN FRANCISCO, CA - 11 October 2011 - Leading communication professionals
from around the world will gather in New York City on 2-4 November for the
International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and PRIME
Research Global Strategic Communication and Measurement Conference. Syracuse
University's Newhouse School is the academic partner for this event.
The conference will feature senior global communications and public
relations executives from organizations such as PepsiCo, IBM, Pfizer, Audi,
CEMEX, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and communication legends James and Larissa Grunig. The conference will bring together senior communication professionals for two days of thought provoking discussions and activities. The conference kicks off with a half-day pre-conference workshop on November 2nd, followed by two days of in-depth sessions and presentations at the exclusive New York Yale Club in midtown Manhattan.
"Research, measurement and evaluation are core components of successful and
professional corporate communication. Having embraced the conceptual
advantages of measurement, today's leading organizations now wrestle with
how best to apply the research to inform better decision-making, to attain
better performance and to deliver business results which are meaningful,
measurable and achievable," says Mark Weiner, CEO of PRIME Research/North
America. "The IABC PRIME Research Conference goes beyond simpler approaches of the past to provoke discussion, share best-practice and prepare attendees to implement what they learn."
"The need to demonstrate the ROI on communications programs to the C-suite
is one of the top priorities for today's communication professionals. This
conference focuses on critical global communication issues and offers
attendees new ideas, tools, strategies and best practice examples to help
them strengthen their programs with strategic measurement and evaluation
