DNA samples are used for various kinds of testing in recent times. One among these testing is the infidelity testing. This examination is generally done to find out whether any genetic material of males or females is present on a particular item or not. The DNA samples that are found on the item are matched with the suspected person and thereby help to find out the details about the unfaithful incident or behavior that has occurred in a particular environment. One more example of such testing is the prenatal gender testing that is used to find out the gender of the baby before he or she is born.

The curiosity to know the gender of the baby among the parents is obvious before his or birth and hence they utilize the prenatal gender testing techniques in order to be aware of the gender of their babies. Generally, the people do it so that they can be well-prepared to welcome the precious member in their family. Based on the gender of the child, the parents decide the baby's clothes, toys and other accessories. Therefore, knowing the gender earlier helps them to be prepared prior to the birth of the baby. Infidelity testing, on the other hand deals with the examination that is concerned with the identification of the person involved in forceful and unfaithful behavior towards the other partner.

DNA samples play a very important part in both the cases. The DNA samples, in case of infidelity testing, that are found on the items present on the spot where such unfaithful behavior occurred help in conducting the overall procedure in a sequential manner to match the samples with that of the suspected people. This helps in determining the person who was involved in that illegal and illegible activity. However, according to the biological facts related to prenatal gender testing, it has been proved that after conceiving, some of the chromosomal DNA particles get transferred into the blood stream of the mother. These particles, in turn help in determining the proper gender of the unborn baby.

DNA samples or particles for infidelity testing is usually obtained from underwear, or other items including bed sheets, birth control contraceptives, such as, condoms, Kleenex tissues, etc. The testing can, however, be done on any item that is suspected to be containing the DNA particles so that the overall examination could be successful to get an effective result. On the other hand, the prenatal gender testing is, sometimes referred as illegal as most of the people misuse this technique. The killing of the girl child has emerged as one of the negative effects of this technique and hence it has been regarded to be an illegal act to find out the gender ogf the baby before birth.

Last but not the least, it must be noted that the DNA samples are not the evidence in case of infidelity testing, but just clues that paves the path towards truth and helps in determining the actual cheater or unfaithful partner. As per the facts related to prenatal gender testing, the parents can utilize it in a positive way to find out about the health of their babies and try to adopt means to eliminate complications if any.
