Steps to Stop Spam
Go to: Previous Article Article
Spam or unsolicited electronic mails are common features in our inboxes when we try to access or read our mail boxes online. The sources of these mails are usually product or service providers who want to advertise themselves through the website without your consent. They employ the service of softwares or robots to generate email address randomly and send these mails in bulk to all recipients.
These are of course just a few, but I do like the third one best. Now how can you stop spam on Facebook, Twitter or any social networking site? The truth is you can't really, some will always find a way through the net and worm its way into your inbox. Of course you can always report spam and that person will get their account canceled, but they can always come back with a new email address and be up and spamming very quickly.
You will have spam filters on your email to reduce spam coming into your inbox. Now every time somebody pitched their business opportunity to me on any social networking site I used to get mad, annoyed and angry and block that person. But not anymore, I deal with them in a completely different way. You see they don't know any different. They may well have been told to do this by their upline.
* You can use spam filters to get rid of these junk mails. Most of the service providers have this facility; hence automatically the spam mails will be filtered and marked. Yahoo, Gmail and Hotmail offers spam filters.
One other strategy being adopted by some user to reduce the level of spam mails they receive in their inbox involves setting up a disposable email address which is normally used for registering on some web sites which are not really important so that mails come from them or their affiliates you can't be bothered by them.
In addition, to this tip it is also advisable not to leave your email address on a website or an online forum because information submitted here are not really kept in confidence but will either be given to affiliates, sold to spammers or web application devised for such will capture and send your mailing address into a database for use in spamming. Technically it is possible to encrypt your email address so that unauthorized users can not gain access to it but to tread on the safe path avoid publishing your mailing details on forums.
You stand a good chance of them joining your training system and then joining your primary business at some point in the future. Most people online want to build their business the smartest way possible, and become successful. So even if they are pitching their opportunity now they may well be aware that it is not the right way to do things and you could be just what the doctor ordered. At the end of the day we will never completely get rid of spam but if we can help educate just a few people along the way then so much the better.
