MLM Marketing: 3 Ways to Make Money with Facebook
Go to: Previous Article Next Article
Use this easy (and very effective) techniques for marketing on Facebook and your online network will grow by leaps and bounds.
If you're like a very sizable part of the population, I bet you have a Facebook page (and if you don't and you're serious about making money online, you really, really need to get yourself one). That's because, as of the writing of this article, Facebook has over 500 million registered users - and it's not slowing down any time soon.
No surprise, then, that businesses of all sizes are hitting Facebook, hard, in hopes of cashing in on this social network. But success on Facebook isn't guaranteed.
To be effective on Facebook, however, you need to remember that it's a social network -not a billboard.
Why?
Because (and this is so obvious, but so easily missed by so many marketers) by its very nature, Facebook is a social network. It's the place that people are hanging out, making friends, and sharing what's going on in their world. No wonder, then, that when someone joins Facebook to advertise their products or services, they fail miserably.
In order to grow your business and make money online with Facebook, you're going to want to follow these three, simple steps:
1) Be social. As I've mentioned, Facebook is about connecting with others - not selling to them. So be real. Talk about what's going on in your world, ask about your friends and their lives, and be genuine about your interest. Engage, interact, and let people get to know the real you (because in the end, that's who they'll want to do business with).
2) Share, and share alike. The Internet is, hands down, THE way to spread useful, relevant information. It's where people go to find answers for just about everything under the sun. Position yourself as an expert in what you do by sharing relevant, quality content and be the one that people come to to find answers. You'll be amazed at how quickly you'll raise your profile and attract people into your network in doing so.
3) Suit up, and show up. Okay, well, you don't actually have to dress fancy for Facebook (pajamas and flip-flops are God's gift to the home-based business owner, after all), but you do want to post on a regular basis. I recommend sharing relevant content about five to seven times daily, but you can play with this and see what your network responds to. Once you get a feel for what works for you, be consistent. You'll be pleasantly surprised just how effective this one step can be when you make a habit of it.
Facebook marketing comes with its own unique set of guidelines, and if you want to make the most of this massive network, you'll need to make sure you follow the simple steps I've outlined above. Take the time, be personable, and share what you know, and watch your reach and influence begin to expand.
