I am no Web "Guru." I do hope that if I visit your website I will find 1st what I'm looking for, and 2nd a cause to return to your website at another time.
While this may fly within the face of many who know much more about Web marketing than I ever will, I hope to encourage those who perhaps have a little company or personal web site that feel like they have failed to reach the masses.
Please understand, this is my opinion only. Unless I get some feedback to convince me otherwise, I will no doubt keep it :)
Anyway, I like web sites that provide me a reason to bookmark them. Like the majority of surfers, I am looking for the perfect wave. Okay, even if I will in no way discover it, I still wish to catch a big one.
Maybe, I'm also fascinated about making a small OR Lots of Money operating on my home computer? If so, I have probably been disappointed several times already. I know that I told myself, " I'll never try anything such as this again, ever! Several times..."
But of course I did. Until I finally found a couple of "Keepers," I just thanked the heavens that I didn't mess up my website or tarnish my status by foisting "Losers" on other individuals. Of this, I am thankful, although I admit I was tempted before I was decided that they did not provide what I thought that they had assured. I feel, if we "Rip somebody in cyberspace off," we might in no way have a chance to pay him or her back.
As I was thinking about how to wrap-up this brief article, I went outside unto the outdoor deck an eager squirrel discovered and fiendishly opened both ends of a five pound bag of wild bird feed. At first, I was disappointed. No, I was pissed! It was a mess! Then, a small sparrow came down getting right at my feet to think about whether or not the treat was worth the trouble. If the incentive was in proportion to the risk. It looked around for maybe a minute before deciding It was already safe. She hopped in to commence out with a easy little peck to sample her discovery.
In connection with web developing, I realized that the very first time visitors to numerous websites should have felt the same way. Isn't that exactly what most of us hope for our websites? That we make our website something worth coming back to?
