5 Points To Announcing Your Posts To Get Them More Followers

Once you've written and published a few articles as part of your internet marketing plan, it's time to start advertising them. While it's great that you've got your work out there for people to follow and publish, to make the most of them, you need to do some promotion. There are five key steps you must take to ensure you get the most from your article marketing:

1. Tweet about your post.

Let people be aware when you have a new write-up listed in a directory by tweeting a website link to your viewers. Letting them know about new write-up available from you is a quick and casual way to spread the word. A basic tweet should have the topic and the link. Stay with under 120 characters so people have space to retweet your news without having it get discontinued.

2. Post it on your blog.

While you don't like to post the whole content, you can refer to it at the end of another article. For instance, "Want to learn more about how to coach your parakeet in a week or less? Browse through my new report, "Tricks and Treats for Parakeets," and then give hyperlink to the page.

3. Create a reprints page.

Provide a list of your articles on a different page on your blog or website. Give hyperlink to it from the main page with a message that states, "Want more details on parakeet training, or would you like to reproduce my work on your site? Click here for more info." Then add links to all your posts, as well as how interested people can contact you for additional information.

4. Link 'em up.

Tell your viewers about the information you have offered every chance you find. This is why it's nice to have multiple articles posted - you can mention a different one in your newsletter, in your Facebook page, in your signature line of your emails, in discussion boards, etc. If you've created specific, useful content, people are likely to want to learn about it!

5. Combine them.

After you've published 10 or 20 articles on a similar topic, merge them and prepare them into an e-book, a special report, or even an e-course. Add more details, create transitions, throw in a resource or more, and you've got an item to give away or promote.

Writing and posting your first few pieces is just the start of the web marketing strategy. Think resourcefully about who would want the information you've composed, and how you can make it available to them, and you're on the way to making a continual flow of visitors to your blog.
