Gloves are the duty gear of many people, because gloves are necessary to do a variety of jobs. It is essential gear of doctors who are handling extremely delicate body organs, while it is also the gear of workers handling grease and heavy machinery. In the case of doctors, gloves are a two-way safeguard because they use their duty gear gloves for their own protection as well as for the patient's protection. Gloves protect the doctor from getting contaminated by whatever problems the patient might have, while it protects the patient from becoming exposed to infection through the doctor's hands.
Policemen are also eternally struggling to help others and save lives, and tactical gloves used by policemen also do a double job. They are implements of defense as well as offense. Gloves can be used to punch when need arises, and in that mode it is a weapon. Gloves are also a body armor that minimizes the impact on the wearer's hands from a rock or stone thrown at him. Among tactical gloves, riot control gloves are perhaps the ones that play a crucial role as duty gear because it is during riot control that a policeman would simultaneously need to protect him as well as chase off the rioters. These are meant for heavy duty works and generally come in bright colors like green or yellow that makes them more visible. Then there are shooting gloves that are the duty gear of all law enforcement agents as well as hunters. Cuffs of most shooting gloves are designed to remain open, to facilitate easy wearing and removing.
