Picking out a color is no chore for a country design. The hues are anything bright, vivid or deep like shades of red, yellow, orange and green. Country theme is associated with a cheerful, homely ambiance, so making use of colors and patterns is an effective way to achieve a country look.
You can use colors not only as wall paint but for kitchen utensils and decorations as well. Examples are in the curtain or window blinds, towels, plate mats and artworks. The fabrics can have a floral print for a country-inspired design or any pattern in pastel or bright colors.

If you don't know how to sew you could always ask a friend or family member to help you, or you could hire a seamstress to sew the curtains for you. Rugs can be elaborate or just a solid color to match your curtains. Consider your budget and pick out a rug that matches your decor!
Shelves are nice for storage in the kitchen. Consider installing a few shelves to set your colored pottery on. You might also consider installing a hanging shelf for your pots and pans! These look great hanging over the island, sink or stove. Towel racks are great for displaying your country themed dishtowels as well.
