Gallons per minute which denotes the possible area that can be covered is also another criterion for choosing the right kind of pressure cleaner.
The spray distance, pressure of the nozzle, spray angle and water flow rate are the elements that determine the efficiency of pressure cleaning. They are chosen after assessing the type of operation for which pressure cleaning is to be used. To consider an example, among the different nozzle types like solid jet, rotating flat jet and rotating solid jet, rotating solid jet is favored due its higher efficiency as compared to the rest .A variation from zero to forty degrees is also possible with respect to the spray angle which is decided according to the requirement.
It has also been determined that hot water is more effective as compared to cold water when it comes to cleaning a surface or any material. If steam is used for pressure cleaning then superheated water at 140-150 degree centigrade is made to condense on the desired surface thereby helping in clearing it. Extreme caution is also advised while using pressure cleaners because of the high pressure of water being involved in the operation.
With technology advancing at such a fast rate, it is safe to say that many enhancements and improvements in this technique are yet to come. Several elements that affect pressure cleaning like nozzle radius, speed and the design of the system are being studied to optimize them further.
Thus, pressure cleaning has become one of the most popular ways to clean materials, the reasons being that it works very efficiently, saves a lot of water as compared to just a garden hose, is very cost-effective and most importantly at a time when preserving the environment is of the utmost importance, t is environment-friendly as it uses less water and chemicals. With all such advantages pressure cleaning is definitely going to witness better and much more improved features in the coming future.
