Honestly, do you feel as if you don't even have enough time for yourself? You look at the mirror just to find your sag skin, your belly fat that grows bigger and bigger, and your hair that seems to have the habit of messing up whenever there are people watching. You hate how you look but you can't give up your work just to take care of your physical self. You start to envy those people who can juggle through life's obligation easily and wonder how can you be like them? Fret not because there's a solution to your problem. What you need are at home workouts that you can do during spare times, most specifically during commercial breaks of that particular TV show you can consider yourself as an avid fan.
By working on home exercises, you don't have to give up The Cougars, Sex and the City, and the like. When these TV shows paused for a commercial break, this is the perfect moment to incorporate workouts. One thing to remember though is that women workouts must never be viewed as household chores; rather they are privileges that must be cherished.
Stop popping a pack of popcorn while watching because it will show up on your belly! The best you can do is to try sweaty yet fun-filled workouts. For the warm up process, as simple as marching in place will help. Basically, you are free to do anything just as long as it will heat up your body. For absolute experience, try marching in exaggerated movements. Sway your arms and legs as high as you can. Remember to act silly to inject fun in your workout.
Now, stand with feet hips apart. Position your toes in a way that it will face the front and place hands on your hips. Carefully bend your knees then push butt backwards until you look as if you are sitting down a chair. When you return on your previous position, lift one leg to the side and raise it towards the ceiling. For the next step, use your other leg. Furthermore, another at home workouts is the famous Lunge Back wherein you have to stand with your feet hips width apart with hands on the hips. Step back on your own leg while you bend the two knees to form 90-degrees angles, after which, sink the back knee so it reaches the floor. With the help of the muscles on your front leg, push yourself in a standing position. Do the steps again but this time using the other leg.
The famous push up is a great exercise routine too that you can do in the comfort of your homes. To start with the routine: kneel down, lean forward and put your hands on the floor. Lower your chest and press back. Inhale by the time when you lower your body and exhale when going up. Remember the rules that the knees must be bent and your feet are in the air.
There is also the Criss Cross included among the at home workouts which is highly related with the modern days Pilates. Simply lie on your back and your legs should be in a 45 degrees angle. Then, bend the right knee into the chest then twist the left elbow and the ribcage into the knee. Switch the legs for you to be able to bend the left knee whereas the right leg straight and the right elbow as well as the ribcage are twisting into your body.
In a nutshell, the above at home workouts are some of the routines that you can do to kill tediousness when you are waiting for your favorite show to start. Never train to strain yourself. The whole thing must be fun. If you feel pain from the routine, stop it. After all, you shouldn't exhaust yourself to your bones.
