Meditate: Meditating while you are bathing is an amazing experience. The water is naturally relaxing your body and sore muscles. Deep breathing and meditation is just an extra step to relaxation.
2. Facemasks are great during baths. You can find amazing facemasks at many bath and body stores. Another good option is making your own facemask from ingredients you already have.
Well-lit Room: Instead of using soft lighting try having a brighter room. We are so use to having darkness and candles that it can be revitalizing to try something completely different. For a change in pace, try opening your blinds to let in a little sun and enjoy a well-lit bath for a change.
Shower First: Take a fast shower before you bathe. A lot of people don't enjoy baths when they feel dirty first. If this is the case for you, give yourself the peace of mind by showering first so you can actually enjoy your bath.
Add Bath and Body Products: Adding bath salt or other bath and body products to the water of the bath can really make a bath special. A lot of bath and body products even come in smaller containers so you can test them out first before investing in the larger sizes.
6. Schedule your baths. You won't really be able to enjoy a relaxing bath if you take it right at the kid's bedtime. Likewise, if you know you have a deadline with work schedule your bath time for after all your work is completed.
7. Let a bath help you get sleepy. People who have issues with insomnia can really benefit from taking a nice, warm bath. It relaxes the muscles and allows you to get ready to fall asleep. Add lavender products to help you get sleepy.
8. Bath time is fun on the weekends. Weekend baths are relaxing for a few purposes. For one, you don't have as strict a schedule to follow. For another, you don't have as many worries about making sure your kids got their homework done, etc.
