Estee Lauder Sparkling Clean Purifying Exfolitor Mask is designed for oily skin with heavy sebum secretion. To perform this purifying function thn, Kaolin Clay which can absorb excess sebum has been added the mask. To further the purifying action, it also contains two types of refining beads. These beads dislodge your facial pores when you massage you face. Also, it is quite natural compared to other purifying masks as it contains a lot of natural extracts like Lemongrass, Cucumber and Lotus Flower.
Another clay-based mask I have tried is Clinique Pore Minimizer Refining Mask. It is more suitable for oily skin instead of all skin type printed on the product. The mask contains salicylic acid which is a common ingredient for sebum control. The mask dries quickly at around 10 minutes with 10 minutes less than the 20 minutes suggested application time. I feel firmness and coolness on face after the application.
Lancome Pure Empreinte Masque contains minerals and seaweed extract that are good at regulating sebum secretion and soothing skin. After applying the mask, I feel the heat generated from it. My pores are enlarged temporarily to facilitate the dirt and excessive sebum removal. I feel my skin perfectly clean and refined afterwards. I find the result is even better if I exfoliate my skin before applying this mask.
Shisedo Aupres Balancing Refining Mask is formulated for dry skin and UV damaged skin. I feel dry after applying this mask so I think it is actually more suitable for oily skin. Also, if your skin is sensitive, I do not recommend this mask as you may feel discomfort when peeling off the mask.
I find Plante System Purifying Mask, a European brand is effective for blackhead. Though it cannot remove all my blackheads, they pop out from my nose pores. I can apply a blackhead peel off mask to remove them effectively out of my nose. Besides, it contains P.E.S. plant complex and extract of Serenoa for inhibitation of further sebum secretion.
Clarins Pure and Radiant Mask clinically tested for its purifying function. It is made from plant extracts and can soothe and purify skin at the same time. After the application time, it is easily rinsed off leaving your skin supple and moisturized. For better results, I would suggest applying more generously around your nose and cheeks.
