Stock Trading - Do You Want To Improve?
Go to: Previous Article Next Article
If you want to do well when you are trading stocks then you need to make sure that you are putting the effort in. No matter what people tell you in life, if you want to be successful then you have to be willing to work.
How can you improve your stock picking abilities? Well you will be pleased to know that there are many methods available to you. You can practice on your own, you can sign up for a stock trading newsletter, you can do courses or even get a mentor.
If we look first of all at reading... I love reading books on stock trading. I have many on my bookshelf and I would recommend that you do the same. Please be warned that if you start buying lots of books then make sure you have time to put what you learn into action.
After you have read some books you should think about a stock trading newsletter. The books will give you a general overview of systems and theories. A newsletter will show you this in action as they recommend certain stocks and justify their reasons for doing so. This is a great way to learn from the professionals who do it for a living.
Personally this is where I would step it up and not stop learning. A lot of people will get to this point and think they know enough. I would add technical analysis into my skills. You could do this either through books or a technical analysis course. A technical analysis course would be my preferred option.
If you are serious about your stock trading then by far the best way to learn is to get a mentor. Now the reason many people don't do this is because it is difficult to get people who will accept you. Why not contact the stock trading newsletter and see if you could do some work for them in return for learning some skills?
