Is Online Fast Cash Legal In Your State: Avoid Arrest
Go to: Previous Article Next Article
There really are just so many laws on the books today. So many now that it's almost impossible to go through your day without committing at least one minor infraction. Perhaps in traffic or maybe smoking in some tobacco free zone. However, now we find out the payday style loans are in fact illegal in a total of six states in the US now. So does this mean that you can be arrested if you apply for one in one of these states?
The answer to that is no. The law applies only to the loan site operators. Now you can still access these sites from a state where they're prohibited but your application will be rejected. They simply won't loan you the money. However, if you live in one of the many other states in the US or provinces around the globe where it is legal to obtain an online payday cash advance there is one way with you as the borrower can still get into legal problems.
That would be by altering a document or creating fake documents that you then use as part of the application process. It's called loan fraud, and you better believe that's a serious crime because they're people sitting in prison right now doing multi-years sentences for doing it. They changed a few facts and figures on a document, submitted it, and thought that nobody would even notice.
Now what's important to understand here, is that "any changes" on any document constitutes loan fraud, if that document is used during the application process for a loan. Any type of loan. And that includes banks, credit unions and online lending institutions like payday loan sites. Any change made on a document and that includes even changing one number on a paycheck stub qualifies as loan fraud.
Now the irony here, is it's perfectly legal to tell lies with your mouth when applying for a loan. This means you can walk into your local bank, sit down at the loan officers desk and tell them your millionaire if you feel like it. It's perfectly legal, and in fact people play fast and loose with the facts all the time in life. However, it's when they start to play "fast and loose" with documents that they start to get into trouble.
So the gist of it all, is that in the end, it really is just better if you be perfectly honest when ever you're applying for any type of credit. Cash credit online or a line of credit at a store at the local mall. You see, one lie always leads to another to cover it up, and all too often you end up getting caught. Also you never know when you might run into financial trouble and need your creditor to work with you to get through it.
