The Ups and Downs of the Apple iPad 2

Using the effectiveness of its product marketing, Apple offers us the Apple iPad 2. Even before all the excitement from the first iPad diminished, the iPad2 was released, making people wonder what changes have been made. Whether you are considering an upgrade from the original iPad or were holding out for the iPad 2, this review will cover some of the main features of this product.
It will be easier to stay connected to the world with the Apple iPad 2 Wi-Fi and 3G capability. Anytime you're near a Wi-Fi network, you'll have no trouble connecting to it with your iPad, as it automatically searches for the strongest connection. The iPad also offers the option of 3G connectivity which will work with AT&T or Verizon Wireless networks. This can be helpful if you find yourself in an area without a Wi-Fi network. Since 3G is the type of signal that is used with cell phones, if you have this iPad option, it will be able to get a signal anywhere your cell phone works. This is a feature you might not need if you mainly use your iPad in places with Wi-Fi.
The Multi-Touch technology used on the iPad is really what sets it apart from other devices. This was introduced with the original iPad and after you get used to it you'll find it easy to do all sorts of things using just your fingers.
You may find, however, that buying a stylus for the iPad makes it even easier to use. While the iPad cannot actually do anything that a computer or smart phone can't, many users enjoy the convenience of Multi-Touch and find it's more user friendly and intuitive than using either a mouse or the kind of touch pad you'd have on a laptop or notebook computer.
There wasn't a camera in the original iPad which was a major criticism of the device. The iPad2 now offers two cameras, one in the front and one in the back. However, some users may still be unhappy as the cameras aren't that high quality. If you want to use it for taking basic shots or chatting with Friends on FaceTime, it works fine, but don't expect high quality videos or photos. Many won't consider this a serious flaw since mobile phones have cameras and serious photographers will already have their own camera equipment.
While it isn't nearly perfect, there are still plenty of reasons to purchase an Apple iPad 2. As long as you do not expect anything major from the cameras and don't need flash capabilities, an iPad is great for web surfing, video and movie watching and video chatting with your friends through the Face Time feature. You shouldn't try to use the Apple iPad 2 as a replacement for your primary computing or technological device but it can still be really fun and interesting to use.
