So much for making a lot of money online. It doesn't work. Almost all of the methods for earning an income are scams. It's sad, but it's true. The best ways to make money won't leave you with a fortune. If you're lucky, you'll have enough to buy a bottle of Pepsi.
This article is a collection of methods I've used over the years to make real, tangible money online. No, it's not enough to allow me to take a cruise around the world, but it is enough to make it worthwhile. Plus, anyone can do it -- including you.
Online Writing. This is one of the most over-talked-about ways to make money online that is rarely actually explained well. Most people who do freelance writing don't make enough money to live comfortably -- and that's okay. Most of the work is, quite frankly, not worth it. Bloggers and webmasters are notorious for not wanting to write their own content, so you can find a way to write it for them at websites like TextBoker. You can make $20 per night, working part-time.
Savings Account -- at the risk of sounding boring, saving money is actually the easiest way of making money. Spend a few minutes on Google, scout out the best high-interest online savings account you can find, and put all of your money in the account. Better yet, have your "regular" bank automatically siphon money into your savings account. Presto. Instant money through interest.
Online CD Rates -- As we talked about just above, an online savings account is a great deal for turning a few minutes into a nice stream of money for years. However, if you're really hardcore, you'll go all-in and get a nice CD. A CD is like a savings account, only you can't pull your money out for a period of time. This means the interest rate is better.
With a Website -- One of the most misunderstood ways of making money online, by far. Most people try to make money with a blog. This almost always fails. Instead, get a single website, put 50 articles on it, and build links. How does this work? I explain the details in the link below -- make sure to read it. This is the method I currently use, after "graduating" from freelance writing.
Warning: you won't find a way to make a lot of money online without working extemely hard for months and months. Sorry, that's just the way it is. I've been working for 6 months, and I'm just now making a full-time income and will be taking a vacation this summer. That takes a lot of work, and no "turn key" system will let you achieve that without a little sweat.
