Opening on Oct 25, 2001, Polaris Fashion Place is a multi level shopping center on the northern side of Columbus, Ohio. The mall, locally owned by Glimcher Realty Trust, is located just off Interstate 71 on Polaris Parkway in Delaware County. It is located just north of the line between Franklin and Delaware Counties. The mall's main anchors are Von Maur, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's (formerly Lazarus), Sears, JCPenney, and The Great Indoors. A former Kaufmann's Store has been torn down to make new room for an outdoor shopping district. The mall features 150 plus other stores, plus a nice food court with lots of choices located on the upper deck. The unique architecture of the main stairwells of the mall were made to resemble a high heeled shoe.
