The Philips Norelco 7340 requires 8 hours to fully charge. When fully charged, it will hold its charge for up to 10 days or 30 minutes of continuous shaving. The indiciator light on the Philips Norelco 7340 men's shaving system also leaves much to be desired, as it only indicates when the shaver is charging and when it has been fully charged, not the amount of battery life that is left in the shaver while you are using it. Having said that, you should let the charge in your Philips Norelco 7340 to run down completely before recharging it in order to conserve battery life.
The big negative with this product is that the batteries are soldered in place, which means that if the battery wears down you will need to take it in to a service technician to have it replaced. The typical life of the Philips Norelco 7340 battery is 4 to 5 years.
