There are varying diplomas from a basic qualifications to an Associate's college diploma to a Bachelor's degree. Those wanting to get involved with a specialty involving MRI or CT scans will need a Bachelor's college diploma to start with. Each potential technician x ray must acquire a degree in some sort of overall healthcare. After this has been accomplished, studying for the job of x-ray tech is the next step. Commonly a 2 year college degree is being pursued by most students. Although those with a 4 year Bachelor's degree are more likely to be hired by hospitals. Once a college degree has been completed, each person must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. This is all that is required by the federal government, the state governments vary. Some states may require even more accreditation.
