Were you aware that a portable video game console also called a PSP center, can do so much more than just allow for playing games? Only MP3 files can be played on the PSP center. Music can be uploaded from a D, downloaded from the computer or the internet. If the file you intend to download isn't in MP3 format there are image converters available to convert a file to the correct format. There is music available all over the internet for a minimal fee. Several sites offer unlimited download for a monthly fee with no long term contract.
Identify the drive that was created for the PSP device. Open up the drive and right click and select create a new folder. Name the folder music or whatever you would like. This is where the music can be saved.
Any time you are wanting to save music that is already saved on the computer to the PSP device. Navigate to the music folder on your pc where the files are saved and copy the files. Then navigate to the PSP drive and paste the files into the folder you created on the new drive. Remember only MP3 files can be saved to the game console.
I love to save music to the pc first and then transfer them to the game console. This way I have my music in both places and I've got a back up on the pc in case an error occurs when transferring the files to the game console. For downloading music from the web, choose your music choices and save the music to a dedicated folder on the computer. Then copy those files from the computer to the newly created drive for the game console. In order to transfer music from a CD to the game console a CD ripper is needed.
When finished downloading files to the PSP device. Before unplugging the device from the computer, press the o button on the device. Then disconnect the PC from the PSP device, and the PSP can be unplugged from the computer. The PSP device is ready to play new music.
The planet is changing and not only can we play games on our PSP devices but we can also listen to our songs. The downloading process is very simple and can allow for many hours of entertainment.
