Gone are the days when desktop computers occupied large amounts of desk space at home or office. Technology has improved to unprecedented levels and users, from students to professionals, have a wide choice when purchasing a laptop.
The Macbook from Apple Inc. is one such innovation from a top notch computer company. The Macbook was introduced to replace the 12-inch Powerbook series and the iBook and created a revolution. Sales made huge gains and the Macbook was the only major player in the U.S. market during the first five months after its launch.
Significant research should go into buying a PC because configuration matters a lot. The initial Macbook model had an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and has upgraded to meet ever-growing customer requirements.
Although there were some hitches following the launch, the Macbook’s minute technical specifications have been corrected and all problems resolved. Distinctive features include pleasing visual appeal, sound battery life, excellent touch pads and strong customer support.
In 2010, Apple Inc. released the latest model called the Macbook Pro which is upgradeable and has newly added features. A primary draw is the price that has dropped to be about equal with other branded laptops.
The best time to buy a Macbook is during the holiday season. There are many discount coupons available from global retail outlets. Also, make sure to use special teacher and student offers when applicable and purchasing a Macbook. Compared to desktop computers, these laptops consume less space, are easily portable and light in weight.
Isn’t it time you treat yourself to a Macbook?
