Employers have said that they are more likely to be 12 percent more graduates this year than last year. It is the first projected increase since the year 2000.
In a second study, a projection of 60 per cent of the businesses in the United States plan to employ the same number of graduates this year as last year. This is an increase of fifty-five per cent over last year, according to the CERI (Collegiate Employment Research Institute) at MSU.
According to a recent study, businesses and corporations in the United States will hire more college graduates with a BA in business, biology and physical sciences. However, graduates with degrees in construction management, health care, accounting and engineering will also see an increase in hiring. Unfortunately, other fields will most likely see a decrease.
It seems that on average companies are employing 43% of their interns, offering them full time jobs. The expected increase in hiring of college graduates goes along with the forecast made by the Federal Reserve Bank that the economy will grow over the coming year.
A good deal of businesses are coming out of the current crisis and looking to hire their interns as well as seeking new employees by posting jobs online and coming to college campuses.

The federal government will hire more graduates this year, but it won't be enough to offset the expected decrease in hiring by local and state agencies.
On average, starting salaries will increase by 1 to 2 percent.
