A small business phone system should not be taken for granted. You might believe it's the easiest thing in the world to pick out your small business phone system. Different brands of telephone systems meet this need in different ways, meaning for you that you have to understand how the system you're checking out actually works--not merely how it works. The one that you are looking at right now might not be the right one for you.
3) Speed dial. Have you ever considered the frequency with which you dial the same phone numbers, over and over again? If you do consider this, you'll quickly realize what a fantastic feature speed dialing can be for your business. You might use the ACT program, Microsoft Outlook, Goldmine, or simply a list of customers, associates, and prospects, but no matter which it is a speed dial function can make calling people possible via the click of a mouse button--saving you lots of time over the long haul. And just imagine if a customer calls and their entire file just pops up on the screen, ready for you to access. But keep in mind that some telephone systems charge you for this feature while others include it for no charge. You never want to pay for something that you don't absolutely need to.
While there are other features you want to include in your business' phone system, these three listed above are among the most crucial for you to consider.
