Nike Dunk SB shoes are where I am putting my chips now. But you know what? They are extremely rare and hard to find and are not sold everywhere, in deed, they are often sold at impossible premium prices. Initially they were not so and were being sold for far lower prices when first released, but as store owners began to realize that sneakerheads are prepared to pay to collect Dunks, they have inflated prices like anything, sometimes even doubling or even tripling the original price. Why because Nike Dunk SB is a line of irresistibly sought-after shoes by skateboarders. The fact of the matter is Nike Dunk SB is the top popular line of shoes amongst all other dunk models.
Ok now, how is the Nike Dunk SB craze going now? First of all, let me clear it to you, the craze for these fantastic pair of shoes shows no sign of receding in the near future at all. Die hard Nike Dunk SB junkies are risking their health to walk or drive their ways to an altogether different city a couple of days ahead of first release of a Dunk SB model and stand up in queues eating packaged foods waiting for the shops to open in the morning. Ok, still if they don’t get to buy the pieces of leather they have craved for, they try to cut deals with those that are lucky to buy there. Remember, Unlike, Nike Air Jordans, the other super duper successful offer from Nike, Dunk SBs are released in very limited numbers in each city.
Then you have the craze of Nike Dunk SB custom shoes. You may argue that these are mad people out there to spoil the million dollar designs. But that’s the way it is. You never know for sure whether it is the disappointment of not being able to buy a specific Nike Dunk SB or the simple craze to show off a unique design and the thirst to stand out in the crowd. What surprises me more is they are received and looked upon as heroes because they have and own something that none other has.
I understand the craze for fashionable things and naturally enough, shoes are not foreign to this craze. You may call me a bit old fashioned but at my time, we never did dare driving miles together overnight to buy even the best among the best Nike Air Jordans despite being bitten by the biggest fashion bug. We could never imagine customizing (spoiling) a design or colorways, may be also because there were no takers for such unauthentic pieces out there.
Probably it is my age that drives me to put money where it matters most. I relish the craze for Nike Dunk SB as much as I did for Nike Air Jordans, albeit for a different reason. Nonetheless, it is a great creation, even if you look at it from the functionality angle but it is the style element that strikes to the masses. Thanks you.
