MLM today has really adjusted quite a bit in the way we are able to expand our businesses, thanks in extensive part to the internet. Right before we get to that, I elect to just list a few things that network marketing IS NOT:
=> It is not one of those "pyramid scheme" things
=> It is not something that is not legal
=> It is definitely not a hobby (unless you want to get paid like one)
=> It is NOT a "high pressure" thing where you "chase" your friends and family
=> It is NOT something you just go about implementing without adequate training!
Now, what really is network marketing?
=> In much piece of cake terms, it's fundamentally multiple levels of people marketing a product/service to consumers. A distributor gets customers and sponsors and trains another distributor to carry out customers.
=> It is the most powerful and notable way of distribution of products or services of all time!
A Brief History of MLM
MLM has developed over a number of years dating back to before World World II. Nutrilite, or "The California Vitamin Company" was most likely the pioneer company to have a pay plan very much alike to network marketing. Two really successful distributors of Nutrilite were Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel, who after a quick problem with the company, abandoned and formed "Amway" in 1959. What Has developed Over The Years?
What has adjusted a great deal is the way we are able to grow our businesses, the way we are able to advertise it and locate quality people to reach out to who will more likely be serious about developing a network marketing business. Thanks to the internet, we are now capable to utilize systems to generate worthy leads to increase our warm markets. We no longer have to "chase" our family and friends, or high pressure them to even take a look at what we have, because we now can have an ampleness of peope to reach out to about our businesses! We can now do presentations exclusively on the internet for our business, making it a true "worldwide"l" home-business that you can do from everywhere you have an online connection (and a phone, or headset if you can reach out to someone online via Skype, etc.). We even have live internet conferencing accessible as well that allows us to give a full presentation to hundreds, or thousands of people all at once over the internet.
So as you can see, network marketing today has developed a lot. And technology, like the internet allows the typical person to favorably advertise their businesses and generate quality leads online, to then take it offline to cultivate a top and highly successful business. In addition to your current warm market, you now have the know-how to expand your warm market by developing relationships, influence and trust online with significant people you can benefit with your business.
