They may not be able to support their plan when they get to their destination and can only get more stress than before. Obviously, flat broke people may not be able to travel as they wish.
Vacation need not to be expensive to enjoy. You can have a richer tour experience that is less expensive. With the current state of our economy today, you may be more stressed just thinking if you can still afford to go. While you are thinking of canceling your vacation plans, you can somehow first think just how you save money on your tour. You can still carry out your dream trip if you know how to travel for less and experience a less travel stress.

You can search for affordable airlines fare, hotel packages and deals, car rental discounts, weekend getaway promos, holiday bargains and affordable travel places online and for free. You must plan your accommodation and airfares thoroughly because it costs almost half of your budget to the entire trip. Those two are the most expensive items on your lists. Still, if you will just look closely to every site on the internet or even asked friends that already went there, you can find luxurious but affordable hotel. You can still not stay on very cheap hotel and relax to a fancy one if you will just look around. It will also be a good thing if you plan your vacation ahead of time. Two to three months preparation is okay. When you reached your destination, you can just use the public transportation and not rent a car. Renting a car is also expensive.
If you are in a tight budget, it is better if you just use the public transportation, instead of renting a car. You can save half of your budget for transportation if you can do this. Try also not to travel during peak season; they tend to increase everything, from airfares to accommodations during these days. While during non-peak seasons, bargains and special discount offers are easy to find. Choose you souvenirs carefully because some souvenirs can also be bought from your place and some souvenir shops double their prices for tourists. Always check your budget and keep your money secure at all times.
