1. The United States is currently ranked as the third highest wind energy producing country in the world, behind Germany and Spain.
2. One place where African energy from the wind is being used in large amounts is found in South Africa, in Cape Town.
3. China is also beginning to invest large amounts of resources in wind farms as its energy needs grow.
