How Keeping A Journal During Your Diet Experience May Make It Work
Go to: Previous Article Next Article
My weight problems started a few years back and despite the efforts to undergo every possible program - it all seem to go in vain. I came across an article one day suggesting that a weight loss journal can be of help to my cause, so I gave it a try. Blogging is a fad these days anyway.
I considered the idea because nothing is at stake. I might as well give it a try especially since I'm having a hard finding the extra push I need to get things done and shed the pounds I have to get rid off. In fact, the only thing I might ever regret is that I have to give up the couch potato life of being in front of the TV because I need to work on my blog.
Putting up a weight-loss blog is a great idea because it aids to keep track of your exercise and diet efforts. In my case, it helped me become sincere to myself because every time I got tempted to munch on what I'm not supposed to eat, I have to mention it on my blog.
Strangely enough, my weight loss blog made me feel in-charge of my actions. Because I know that all eyes are on me, I have to be cautious so I will not disappoint the people around me. Little by little, I was able to drop a few pounds and my blog serves as my documentation.
Suddenly, my weight-related practices are beginning to improve. Despite the two-month wait, I felt satisfied as my waistline was reduced.
I have my blog to thank for it. At the same time, it made me happy to know that I have readers following my blog entries regularly. They even encourage me throughout the arduous process.
The advantages don't end there. After a couple of months, I've learned that I could actually earn money from blogging. Well, who wouldn't want some extra cash on the side right?
I'm $20 richer every month just by writing about my thoughts on weight loss and other relevant topics. Not to mention the fact that I'm also helping myself get back in shape quickly.
